How To Repair The PS3 Yellow Light Of Death
This game is sooooo fun. It also keeps you playing over and over again. I also like that none of the creatures your character has to kill are human. I love to build characters starting from the ground up and make them special according to how you pass out skills and stat points.
what can i say about this product if you love Blizzard Entertainment
game’s then then you know how good this product is.
Let me start by saying I LOVE Blizzard and most of the games they have released (rock & roll racing? really??). Not only are the games addictive, the cinematics for the games are well done and extremely enjoyable (if you’re like me, you went straight into the directory and played all the movies back to back).
The Blizzard entertainment DVD basically packs together all the intro and cut scenes from their games onto a semi-watchable dvd. The scenes are juxtaposed one after another without any explanation or narration. The Diablo II scenes made sort of sense, since the cut scenes were seperated in acts and you could actually follow the story a little. Unfortunately, Starcraft and Warcraft III both had numerous story lines, and most of the stories were told in-game. So a cinematic movie would usually just show the conclusion. Basically, anyone who hasn’t played the game, won’t know what’s happening. Some extras are included with the DVDs, like storyboard art and designs for the game.
These DVDs are angled towards the avid gamer, who’s played all three games all the way through, and just wants a collectors DVD set of all the cut scenes, so he can sit back on his big LCD tv with surround sound and relive his favorite gaming moments. For the price, I figure Blizzard deserves it for all their hard work.
Beside the state of the art graphics(at the time) that you were able to watch it only after defeating Kerrigan, Tassadar or Raynor this edition give you the option to see master pieces and the progress that blizzard show on each game.
I expected to get the video cut scenes of all three video games plus add-ons and that is what I got. All of it would probably have fit on one DVD and the use of three DVDs was certainly a waste of resources. It makes the package look bigger than it actually is, but don’t be fooled, there are not very much extras to be found on the DVDs. There are some trailers and a bit artwork and that is about it.
They should have make it one DVD and sell it for $9.99 and it would have been a great value. Sold like this, is it a bit too expensive IMO and the $19.95 price tag is not justified by anything else than the fact that they broke the stuff down to three DVDs, which increased the costs for the product material.
So, I have played six or seven MMORPGs in the last 12 or so years, all of them had their own twists and turns, ups and downs, things they shined at etc. World of Warcraft on the other hand has NOTHING in-game that shines other than a huge population, and why? Blizzard is great at marketing and sucking people in. Compare the in-depth playing of a game like Anarchy Online or DAoC to the at best weak grind and quest snooze-fest that is World of Warcraft.
Yes, World of Warcraft has slightly better more cartoony graphics than those games; but when did that start making a game the best?
If you want to play a game that is weak on quality and in-depth gaming, then this is your game!
i love playing this game with my friends but once you start playing you dont have to stop so I wouldnt advise playing this game it’ll mess up your life.
This game is great, good graphics, music and story line history. Over the years I’ve played many Video games from the classic Arcade games of the 80’s to verious games on the playstation systems and ect ect. When I moved on to computer games I was looking for something interesting and fun to play….I thought I found it in Everquest and while it was a good game, I found World of Warcraft to be better. I’ve enjoyed this game more then any other I’ve played..
If you haven’t tried it I recommened it.
I left this game back in 2004 to pursue other MMOs. Well I’m back after 5 years off and am I glad I returned. Not much for me to say that already hasn’t been said.
Deep stories and engaging quests.
Fantastic character development.
I find the graphics to be very appealing.
An old system can run this just fine..My rig can run this at nearly 500 frames-per-second. So old or new, doesn’t matter. It just looks good with major attention to detail.
I’ve been wanting to come back to this game for a long time, and as with you read up on reviews and in forums as to whats going on. And as with you have read over and over about all the childish nonsense that goes on and how the culture just makes for a miserable experience. Allow me to dispell some of that.
I rejoined expecting just a ton of BS and to not play for more than a few days. I also expected it to be dead dead dead. Any one who has played an MMO then quit, then comes back years later knows that lower level zones are barren for the most part which really sugz.
Well, this game is very active. Low level zones have a descent amount of people in them that are level appropriate, and usually a few high level players around to lend a hand.
Now as far as the brain-damaged teenie bopper crowed. Yes they are there BUT!!!! But…it’s easy to squelch their idiotic babble. All you do is right click their name then chose ignore. BAM! You just muted an idiot! I’ve done this for the past couple of weeks and I must say that the bulk of the chatting I read is on subject and appropriate. My ignore list is HUGE. When in a mjor city just watch the chat, you can spot the ‘tards from a mile away. Right click their name/ignore. Those that respond to the nonsense? Right click name/ignore. Works like magic! Even in doing so, I still manage to find plenty of good people to group with and have fun with. There is the occasional a-hole but that is by far not the norm.
Seems it’s never a problem finding a high level to help out on something you have no business doing on your own. Or like a said, groups are fairly easy to come by.
Hats off to Blizzard for keeping this game alive. To me it’s all new again and fun. Also kudos for having regular events and polishing this game every chance they get.
Now is the perfect time to rejoin or sign up for the first time. You’ll have plenty of time to move through the current content and come next November, the entire world is going to be redone. So you’ll see it pre and post “cataclysm”.
One more thing, choose your sever wisely. They have data centers all over the country, choosing one near you might be a good idea. Also choosing one in your time zone is a good idea as a lot of things are planned on server time. Go online and look up where the data centers are and go from there. Blizzard does not share that information and you wont find it in game.
World of Warcraft consist The orginal ,Burning Crusade, and The Lich King. There are over 20 realms of gameplay. When you first start playing the game the controls are diffucult but easy to learn in about a few days. It’s very addicting when you start off and the areas are massive filled with over 8 MILLION people playing you can quest with players that you meet and add them to friends or ignore people that are bothering you. There are the Horde and Alliance which you pick from with you class and race you can pvp (player vs player) if there not part whichever you picked(Horde or Alliance). The quest are fun to do and you meet fun people on the game. You have or 30 spells once turned lv 60 which consist or pretty good graphics. There are a lot of websites that help with quest if you dont know where to go. You should buy this game whether 9 or 50 when you want to burn off stress just log on and talk with your guild or friends.
