Wasn’t the best book, but for the price it didn’t hurt. Best part about it is it had a list of addons for a few different categorys, and their descriptions, which was nice because he doesn’t include any of the poor quality addons that litter addon sites. But for the not-so-lazy group, you can get all this information off addon sites quite easily.

How To Repair The PS3 Yellow Light Of Death
to be honset this looks like it was made by a 7th grader. Sure the cover is nice and the information is good, but the text and pictures look like they were done on an home printer. The size and font of the information is so small i need glasses and a magnifying glass to even read the thing.
My 9-year-old who has recently gotten very interested in World of Warcraft ordered this book in hopes of obtaining some secrets or tips about how to get his characters to a higher level quicker than usual.
Instead, this book seems to be an almost incomprehensible series of charts detailing what quests should be taken in what order. However, there is no written explanation of how to accomplish these quests or even how to use the book. Neither my son nor myself (although I must admit I am not very familiar with WOW) were able to make head or tail of any part of this book. As far as we can tell, there are no tips or tricks included.
Perhaps if you’re an advanced WOW user you might understand this book, but my guess would be if you’re an advanced WOW user, you probably wouldn’t need this book in the first place.
Save your money.
Not worth the paper it is printed on. Poor print quality, no detailed directions or explanations, and not all classes included. Looks like something a 10 year old would put together.
I am a long-time player of WoW (since May, 2005) and have 20 toons, both Horde and Alliance on two accounts. I am always looking for a good guide on the internet, whether it is for leveling, gold accumulation, or trading. So, when I saw this guide listed on Amazon, I jumped at the chance to check it out. Unreadable is the best way to sum up my impression of this guide – and I mean that literally. The comparable Alliance leveling guide is much better in format and layout, but it is outdated (see my review of that product)World of Warcraft: Alliance Leveling guide.
By following this guide, a Horde toon can be efficiently leveled from 1-70. It is assumed that your toon is created as a Blood Elf and starting in Eversong Woods. If you don’t want to create a Blood Elf, there are helpful guides for the Undead and Tauren races up to level 12 on the first page – then move your toon to Ghostlands to continue following the guide. This guide accomplishes its goal, and with dedication, a player can level to 70 within a short period of time. This guide will take you throguh the Outlands to Shadowmoon valley (The game has moved on since this point, but the guide can still be used).
The format and layout of this guide is terrible. It appears that they have reprinted screenshots from a website, and the font and pitch are so small as to be unreadable. The maps and accompanying text cannot be read. The printed portion of each page only takes up about ½ of the space available. A much better guide is the well-known downloadable internet guide by Jame ([...]). This link is for the newest version. I have used Jame’s guides to level my toons and I like them very much. I have not found any leveling guides for either Horde or Alliance that I like better.
DON’T BUY THIS GUIDE – YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY THAT YOU WASTED YOUR MONEY.
I hope you find this review helpful.
The book’s good at what it is tryign to do, but that thing is useless.
play for a month and it will all come together, this is a waste of money
and if you cant install an addon, just ask someone in your guild or something..its the easiest thing to do.
if you dont know…
find the addon you want download it, and click open [not save] on the pop up window. when it opens a screen with the addon file[s] you need to open my computer, then open drive C, then open program files, then open ‘Wolrd of Warcraft’ files, then open the interface folder. your should see an ‘add ons’ folder in the interface folder, simply go to the window with the addon files, hold down Ctrl [control] and left click each of the files in the folder. when they are are highlighted, drag them into the addons folder.
when you launch WoW make sure the addon is checked in the addons list [where your character selection screen is] from there you can enable/disable an addon if you decide you dont like it.
if you have lots of extra $$ then go for it, i’d just learn from playing
By its very nature, this sort of material is dated by the time it can go to press. That being said, the authors have done an exemplary job of providing material that covers lasting principles, and not specifics that will be immediately invalidated. In addition, supporting material on-line is fresh and regularly updated. A solid 5 stars!

Pretty simple guide really, just needs one line of text:
Roll a Warlock
am i rite?
I bought this book and two others to create a couple of interfaces for things I do often.
This book referenced many of the existing add-on applications, and some basic calls. I could have used this info a year ago when I started, but I had already pass beyond this info with stuff from some of the sites listed here. Also two of the links I tried had already either changed or gone dark, so my take is the printed reference does have a time-line.
I did find it well written, and organized, and had I seen this a year ago it would have been ideal.
Not too impressed with this guide. It has some helpful hints in it. Although they are mainly targeted towards completely new players. For example how to decide on a race/class. I’m still on the look out for a good compainion with World of Warcraft for a semi-experienced player. I want more raid strategies and heroic instance tips. This isn’t for me.
This book isn’t as concise as I would have liked. It does have a significant amount of information, but as a player most of it was useless to me. The biggest problem is that much of it is out of date due to constant updates.
It was a good reference until the last 3.1 update. I can still use it to check out which areas to go to at which level and look up little info like certain bosses and quests. They need to come out with a new one thanks to the huge changes this last update brought.
Honestly, the information is well portrayed and organized however, most of it is beginner info and very basic. For more advanced information that is kept up to date I would suggest a dynamic guide like the one found on http://www.hiddenstuff.com/
Got the item soon, as promised like new, I would buy from you again anytime again.
