Wonderful manga! The artistic side was well done and the dialogue was intriguing and attention-grabbing. A must for anyone who loves the Warcraft saga.

How To Repair The PS3 Yellow Light Of Death
As with most books, it took a chapter or two to really get into it. This book uses many familiar places within the Warcraft lore and was a most EXCELLENT read! The details and descriptions are just awesome.
I had a hard time putting it down. Highly recommended if you love the Warcraft lore.
Helped me understand alot of the backstory of the game. The best was seeing Khadgar in Shatt after I had finished the book, awesome. I would reccomend this book to anyone who plays WOW, or anyone that just enjoys fantasy novels.
I’ve now read almost every book that is actual novel form in the Warcraft / World of Warcraft series… and this one is the best, IMHO. It is well written, it is true to lore without trying to add to much, it fleshes out popular characters, and the pacing is decent throughout.
I read this book fourth because I went in order of chronology (War of the Ancients TECHNICALLY takes place after this, but I read them first because it is basically the retelling of the WotA, just with a twist), but I wish I’d have saved it. None of the others have matched it yet.
I’d give it a 4/4.5 on just a general book scale, 5 out of the Warcraft books. True to the theme, and a good read overall.
This book should have been book one to the series, as it covers the story from the first game. I’m surprised for such a good author how un surprising the book was. If anyone has read the story written in Warcraft 1 manual. It’s basically an expanded edition. Ok read for fantasy/warcraft fans.
I read this book book as part of an attempt to understand the history of the warcraft world and it came through in stunning style. A highly enjoyable read.
even though I didn’t really like the first two books that much I bought it anyways because I’m slightly obsessive compulsive about completing sets (damn you Poke’mon, and damn you video game based achievements). Now you all know how I trick myself into buying manga I don’t even want. I took all three books on the train in Tokyo to read while we traveled 3 hours to Japan’s Ikea. The third book was actually a pretty good conclusion to s simple hockey storyline. The art was a little less detailed than the first two books, I guess the artist was getting bored. The summary at the beginning of the third book was a copy of the second book, nothing new. I felt like I paid for the same thing twice. My favorite part of this book is a single frame with a zombie with him saying “Hurr” with googiley eyes. I laughed on the train and Japanese people stared at me.
Overall, I think unless you play war craft you will think this is a pretty lame manga. You might like the art, but you will seek to read the novels or play the games to get a better idea why their are giant cow people, which they don’t even say he is a Tauren. There is a lack of Gnomes, and the orcs are displayed in about 10 frames of the whole series. You would think the orcs would have a bigger role in any Warcraft books, because they were one of the main races of the series from the beginning. Overall, I didn’t like the storyline, but the art and my nerdy interest in Warcraft kept me going.
Wonderful manga! The artistic side was well done and the dialogue was intriguing and attention-grabbing. A must for anyone who loves the Warcraft saga.
Ah well fitting ending to a trilogy that has both awesome drawing by Jae Hawn Kim and (allthough relativly short)a rich story. Nice battles and story plots come together in a good finishing book of the trilogy. For the enthousiast a nice 3rd book and ending of the story. Too bad its the final part, because I think there could be much more of these stories.
Yeah, so I read the whole 3 books in this series and they were good, I enjoyed them but it seemed to be over a little quickly. There was an epic battle and all but it seemed to be over too quickly.
Good, but I would have liked a stronger ending.
The third and final book of the Sunwell Trilogy was pleasing to me. While I thought the first two books were pretty shallow as far as the plot goes, this one had a somewhat deeper feel. As the story reaches its climax, with the Sunwell’s power being revealed, the action actually gets pretty intense. Also, the addition of a couple of cool new characters (especially Sylvanas) gives more depth and details more of the background for the story. So, props for Knaack for finishing off the series with some substance.
As before, the art is the major selling point for these books. Jae-Hwan’s talent is amazing and really brings the story to life.
